I don’t know if it’s the same for everyone, but for me, music is definitely a great motivator!
For example at the gym, I really can’t handle to do cardio without music. It would feel like it will painfully never end and have no energy to do it. When I forget my earphone at the gym, I usually do a really short workout or skip the cardio part … At the gym, I usually listen to energetic tunes that promote speed. If I love the song, I find my workout is easy, fast and I have way more stamina and energy to complete it. Sometimes I even think: “Already!, awesome!, maybe I can do a few minutes more!”. 🙂
Another example is when I do house cleaning, I turn up the volume and here I am doing it in a time record!
Music makes, beyond any doubt, dreading tasks bearable and more fun.
