#FitnessJourney: Crunch Time!

Hello everyone,

The past few weeks were a bit tough on the motivation side. I will admit I have been struggling a lot since I got this bad cold. But now it is crunch time! My trip to the Dominican is 3 weeks away, so I need to step up and get this done!

Maybe I lost motivation because I was doing it to the extreme… Maybe 50 mins cardio 3-4 times per week was too much for what I can handle… 50 mins on a treadmill is pretty boring too, SO what I want to try to do is to bring it down to about 30 mins, but go more often.

Now with the spring finally here, I can now get outside more often. My goal will be to go the gym to do weights 2-3 times per week and go for a run outside 2-3 times per week, weather permitting.

I am about 15 lbs of my goal weight… I have a feeling I won’t get there in time for my trip, but if I could shed 5 lbs by the time I go on my trip, I will be happy.

Let’s hope the weather will work with me in the next 3 weeks!
