#FitnessJourney: Perseverance

Hello everyone,

The perseverance I’ve been keeping up is starting to show results. On December 3rd, I was weighing 170 lbs. I have lost 5 lbs since and 2 of them was from only the last two weeks! So my change in the cardio VS weightlifting training is working. I am doing this on my own and it makes it even more gratifying. I’ve worked with a few personal trainers in the past and I am taking what I’ve learned from them and put it into practice.

I have managed to get to the gym 4 times again last week. I mentioned last week that I may change my running workout to 4 mins run / 1 mins walk… I think I may do 3 mins running and 1 min walk… a bit less harsh and will start building some endurance. I may jump to 4 mins in a few weeks when my body got used to less rest time.

Results may come at a slow pace, but when you keep persevering, that’s when you see the changes. Don’t give up! Keep fighting for what you truly want. It will come eventually! What matter is that you are putting the effort in!
