As I was looking for a song that I am learning the at the guitar with just the vocals, I discovered this country acapella band which I really like a few of their songs. The band is called Home Free. They are from Minnesota in the US.
A Capella bands always amaze me. They are self-sufficient and create beautiful music with so much depth into it. It is very powerful.
The song I particularly like from Home Free is When You Walk In.
My Interpretation:
This is about love at first sight. Life goes by so fast and the moment you see the love of your life, life stops for a split moment. Time stays still. I may be wrong, but this is my interpretation of it. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
Lyrics: “When You Walk In”
Seems like there’s less sand in the hourglass
Look up, wonder how it flies by so fast
Seeing all the things we’ve missed
We get ’em back on nights like this
Your smile, that dress, leaving me speechlessWhen you walk in like that
Even time won’t pass
Up a moment to hold you right where you’re at
And my world stops right in its tracks
When you walk in like that
Like thatThe hands of time, frozen just like me
Caught in your eyes, like I’ll always be
Girl it feels good right now,
With everythin’ slowin’ down
Can’t catch my breathYa take it every time
You walk in like that
Even time won’t pass
Up a moment to hold you right where you’re at
And my world stops right in its tracks
When you walk in like thatI understand you’re takin’
I’m takin’ it all in
Girl you know I’m hopin’ and prayin’ it won’t ever endWhen you walk in like that
Even time won’t pass
Up a moment to hold you right where you’re at
And my world stops right in its tracks
When you walk in
When you walk in like that
When you walk in
When you walk in like that
