Who doesn't LOVE Peppermint Mocha?

Tis the season for this fabulous, delicious drink and I thought I should write a little review on it. I probably shouldn’t drink so many as I am watching my weight, but during Christmas time, I can’t help it. I am so in trouble. ha! ha!

Chocolate and Peppermint is just the match made from Heaven!

I’ve tried it from 4 different places and let me tell you, you can’t go on the cheap side if you want to enjoy a good peppermint mocha:

Here are the places I went: McDonald’s, Tim Hortons, Starbucks and Second Cup.

My opinion on each:

Tim Hortons: it didn’t even taste peppermint.

McDonald’s: The first one was amazing, the second one, I don’t know what happened, it didn’t even taste like mocha which means consistency isn’t there.

Second Cup: is good, but although this drink is made of sugar, it feels like you’re drinking sugar and is missing the mocha/coffee taste.

Starbucks: My absolute favorite. It seems that they are very consistent in their recipe. Every time I get one, it’s just done right. Just delicious!

For me, Starbucks is the winner for making the best peppermint mocha and the taste seem to be very consistent each time I buy one.

What’s your opinion on the best Peppermint Mocha? Any suggestions for other places are welcome. 🙂
