The Good Deed

Tuesday evening, as my husband and I walked our two dogs, there was this other dog walking freely on the street with cars passing by… I didn’t want to leave this little guy like that, he could have got hit and hurt. His family must be so worried. In my opinion, a dog is a member of your family and putting myself in their place brakes my heart.

We took him home. This little guy was so lovable. He was right at ease in our house. He would have been so easy to adopt. Calm and affectionate, he seemed to be a great, well-trained family dog. We had to find his family as soon as possible. We were not sure what to do, so we called Animal Services and a few hours later they come pick him up.

What is a good deed? Doing a good deed is an act of kindness, helping someone. It is offering your love, compassion and doesn’t matter how big or small it is. That simple act could change someone’s life.

lostdogI don’t know if this dog was let out purposely (which I would hate to see) or if he just escaped, but I hope he finds his home and if he doesn’t, I hope someone will take a good care of this dog and give him a good life. We most likely saved his life and I am sure his family will be so happy to have him back.

Here was my good deed this week 🙂

Thanks for reading.
