I can’t believe it’s November already! Let’s just say this book helped make the time fly by quickly.

Watch Me Disappear by Janelle Brown is one of those books that you want to know what happens next. Every single day I was looking forward to reading it, up until the end. If you like suspense and mystery, I strongly recommend this book.

This is the story of a happy family going through difficult times when Billie, the mom decided to go on a hike on her own and never returned and was declared for dead.

Jonathan her husband was writing a memoir to commemorate her life and as the anniversary of her disappearance come close, Olive their daughter started to have visions of her mother. She thought her mother wanted her to find her, but Olive and Jonathan slowly discovered that Billie was hiding things from her past for a long time sending them through some discovery adventure on finding what happened to her and since they haven’t found Billie’s body, they were going through a lot of confusions on why she never returned. They first thought she left them and hired someone to make her disappear. Jonathan’s was struggled to write the memoir as the life he thought he had seemed now to be a scam.

As they found clues, they discovered some truth behind Billie’s life. They discovered that Billie’s past was not something to be proud of. She had a daughter, Ryan, from a man who was in prison for years and she escaped from being put in jail.

Was she protecting them? Did she kill herself in order to keep her secret safe?

I will leave this for you to discover.

Enjoy!
